I've used RSS clients since before the venerable NetNewsWire. I've tried almost all free and paid clients. News Explorer bests them all. It's rock solid. Use is as easy as any of the others. Options for reading, viewing, manipulating the contents are incredibly extensive. Combined with BetterTouchTool, or others, everything is controlled through gestures - assuming you're not a keyboard maestro. Support could not be better. 5 stars are not enough. Prompt replies. Great, comprehensive information. I've suggested a couple features and the developer kindly guided me to where/how what I wanted. The one feature not possible nevertheless got me a detailed, understandable, reasonable explanation. While iCloud works for me I. too, appreciate the self-syncing. I also use both the iOS and iPadOS apps.

The best news aggregation application I used so far.
Used Google reader for many years, after it has been shut down, migrated to Inoreader, but their subscription model was not good for me.
News Explorer has all features I used in Inoreader and even more (incl. Twitter feeds) - and you pay only once for all of them. Applications for both OSX and IOS are beautiful, look native and work perfect. Minor problems are addressed very fast by app maintainers. Plus I like the idea that News Explorer is not a cloud application (I know about iCloud sync and it's ok for me)
